Oh my god, Finally Nicole Kidman has got her style back. During her marriage to Tom Cruise her style was superb but I guess if I had a wife shed be stylishly dressed too(just saying... take out of that what you will
) but recently shes been more miss than hit. But here at the opening of Cannes shes exquisite.

The next royal Wedding

Im very excited. Just over three weeks and the worlds royalty will assemble in Stockholm for the marraige of the kings youngest child Princess Madeleine. She will be marrying an american Chris O'Neill in a lavish ceremony in the Royal Chapel. She is certainly a beauty and is going to make a glorious bride. I watched the last swedish wedding on line when Princess Victoria wed Daniel and although I did not understand a word anyone said (only swedish I know is the swedish Chef off Muppets) it truly was a great family wedding.
Roll on the 8th June!!!!

That on the 10th of May a royal Prince was born...in auckland.

Proud new parents Crown Prince Tupouto’a and Princess Sinaitakala are celebrating the birth of their first son, reportedly named Prince Taufa’ahau Manumataongo, who surprised the family with an early arrival today, May 10, in Auckland, New Zealand.

 

Maybe a playmate for The duke and Duchess of Cambridges child.

This Years Royal Wedding

So Its royal wedding weekend......Where you ask? Why Luxembourg I say. Thats right Hereditary Grand Duke Guilluame and his fiancee Stephanie will tie the royal knot. Now Guilluame is the heir to the Luxembourg throne so to speak. And his fiancee is a countesss. There is a huge range of royals attending this wedding from all over the world.

Hopefully will have all the relevent pics from this weekends festivities.

The Met Ball - best and worst dressed

So the annual Met Ball in New York just took place a few hours ago. And what a bevy of outfits there were this year. Obviouslt metallic gold is the latest trnd and my best dressed goes to Cary Mulligan. Absolutely beautiful

John Travolta..Come on

So a massuese in the states is sueing John Travolta for sexual assault. Apparently Mr Travolta grabbed the Masseuses nether regions and then pleasured himself. Now according to the Travolta camp(no pun intended) Mr Travolta was on the opposite side of the States when the aformentioned assault was supposed to have happened. Do you believe it???

Miss World New Zealand

I had the good fotune yesterday to meet the newly crowned Miss World New Zealand. Really??? Having done the Miss World New Zealand pageant for several years I was very interested to talk to her. I'm not sure about her chances and I am really dissappointed that this competition has descended to the level it has. Does this lovely young lady really represent the best of our beauty queens. The beauty contest business(dont get sucked in that is definitely what it is a business) in this country is very fragmented and it is time someone spoke out against what is happening here. Come on people get your shit together and make it one contest instead of several that becomes something that we can all be proud of. n wish her all the best for her competition in miss World but I very much doubt if she will be bringing home the crown but Im sure she will have a great time away.

Im back

So its been a few months since I last posted on my blog. I dont know where the time has gone. Oh I know I was directing a little show called Barnum. Certainly one of the most fun shows i have had the privilige to be part of. So now I have more time on my hands I shall certainly be blogging lots more.

Being made at the moment are three new episodes of Absolutely Fabulous and all the core cast are returning. Cant wait.

yet another royal wedding

This past weekend saw royalt assemble in Germany for Kaiser Whilhelms great grandson's wedding. Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia and Princess Sophie of Isenburg married in  Potsdam surrounded by many eurpoean aristocrats. Broadcast live on german televisiob it didnt quite have the same appeal as that of th Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but more than would have been expected in this democratically run country

Movies this week

have watched two outstanding movies this week. One Christopher and his kind starring the new Doctor who Matt Smith and A Single Man starring Colin Firth. Both outstanding pieces. interesting that so mant english playing american s and americans playing English, rather bizarre really. I would recommend these to anyone althogh probably not everyones cup of tea.
